The DOE Foundation Launches Debate Workshop

We are excited to share a beautiful milestone from the DOE Foundation! Our team conducted our very first outreach at the Glory and Praise Secondary School, Abuja, and it was an inspiring start, with over 40 students in attendance. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we facilitated an introductory session on the British Parliamentary (BP) debating format - a globally recognized structure that teaches young people how to think clearly, speak boldly, and listen with intention. Throughout the workshop, students learned how debate can become a powerful tool for advocacy, self-expression, leadership, and critical thinking. Their enthusiasm during the practice session was a reminder of the untapped brilliance waiting to be nurtured in our communities. Moments like these reaffirm our mission to equip a generation of purposeful leaders through advocacy. We are grateful to the school for welcoming us and to our volunteers for serving with excellence. This is just the beginning.

Founder serves as Chief Adjudicator for PAUDC, South Africa 2025

We’re proud to spotlight our Founder’s participation at the Pan-African Universities Debating Championships (PAUDC) in Johannesburg, South Africa, fondly branded as Jozi PAUDC 2025. This was the largest British Parliamentary debate competition in Africa to date, with nearly 400 participants from across the continent. At this historic edition, our Founder served as Chief Adjudicator, working alongside a five-person leadership team and convening team to oversee the entire competition — from nine preliminary rounds, to the break into partial quarterfinals, and eventually, the recognition of outstanding debaters and adjudicators. This experience reflects our continued commitment to excellence, leadership, and the development of young African voices on global platforms.
