The DOE Foundation Launches Debate Workshop

We are excited to share a beautiful milestone from the DOE Foundation!...

Our team conducted our very first outreach at the Glory and Praise Secondary School, Abuja, and it was an inspiring start, with over 40 students in attendance. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we facilitated an introductory session on the British Parliamentary (BP) debating format - a globally recognized structure that teaches young people how to think clearly, speak boldly, and listen with intention. Throughout the workshop, students learned how debate can become a powerful tool for advocacy, self-expression, leadership, and critical thinking. Their enthusiasm during the practice session was a reminder of the untapped brilliance waiting to be nurtured in our communities. Moments like these reaffirm our mission to equip a generation of purposeful leaders through advocacy. We are grateful to the school for welcoming us and to our volunteers for serving with excellence. This is just the beginning.

Community Impact Report: The DOE Foundation’s Christmas Visit to the Christ Foundation Orphanage

Our visit to the Christ Orphanage Foundation was more than just a donation drive; it was a celebration of humanity...

The DOE Foundation team set out to share the Christmas spirit, but we ended up receiving so much more in return. The day was filled with the distribution of food, clothes, and special DOE souvenirs, but the real highlight was the incredible energy of the children. They didn't just receive; they celebrated, filling the air with music and dance that brought smiles to everyone's faces. We were also privileged to share some life-changing lessons with the kids. We spoke about the importance of personal hygiene and had a deeply moving session with a Pastor who reminded us all about the true meaning of Christmas. To cap it all off, we held a session on entrepreneurial skills that left the children (and our team!) feeling inspired and motivated for the future. Thank you to the Christ Orphanage Foundation for welcoming us with open arms. Together, we aren't just giving gifts, we are building hope and fostering dreams...

preparing students aged 14–18 for the Senior European Ethics Olympiad 2026. This marks an exciting moment as African teams prepare to step onto the global stage. In partnership with the Modus Ponens Institute and TKEthics, this program is more than a competition: it’s a masterclass in critical thinking, meaningful dialogue, and ethical leadership. Most importantly, in line with our commitment to equity and access, the DOE Foundation is offering free training to students from low-resource schools, ensuring that talent and potential, not privilege, determine who gets to be heard. Beyond medals and rankings, this is about raising thinkers who lead with empathy, courage, and values...
